Youth Programs ...
Why should grown-ups have all the fun?
The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association Arts for Kids program consists of ongoing creative classes for children in dance, drawing, painting, crafts, mosaics, sculpture, music, and writing.
Classes are provided after school and during the day for the home-schooled children. Enhance your creativity and open your mind to Art as an Adventure!

Youth Art Month ~ March 6 - March 23, 2012
Youth Art Month is a national celebration of the visual arts in education. YAM is held every March and is designed to emphasize the importance of quality art education for all children.
YAM was created in 1961, as a service to art educators and the public with the following objectives:
•Recognize Art as a necessity for the complete development of a high quality of life for all people.
•Direct attention to art education as an effective vehicle to teach critical thinking, communication skills, self-expression and multi-cultural awareness.
•Increase community, business and government support for art education.
Come celebrate Youth Art Month with us at the opening reception on Tuesday, March 6th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the Richard Low Evans Gallery. Participation in the exhibit is open to all students K-12 in Fannin County. Friends, family and the public are invited to attend. The exhibit will remain on display through March 23rd.
